Josh is back in England now. He is working hard to finish up! I miss him! I am working days at Drake and nights at the Dance Studio! I am a freaking busy bee. I enjoy teaching dance so much. I love it. I have taught there for so long. My little 6th graders are graduating this year! Josh and I are doing great. I will get to see him in Chicago in November. Vacation together. Lancaster University is flying him back for Psychonomics a conference. So, I took a week off to relax with him there. I cannot wait. We are also trying to plan a trip this summer to Hawaii with our best buds Noah and Denise who live in KC at the moment. I hope that all works out!
I miss all my family that are away a bunch. I am so sad I have not gotten to meet Mr. Max yet. He needs his Auntie! Plus, I want to see Joe and Anna become parents!
I love you all. Peace out.

9 Years
February 5th, 2008
9 years ago today I begged my mother to let a boy from Lincoln High School take me to the Mall. She said yes and it sparked a relationship that has lasted 9 years. It has been hard, harder, and full of blessings in which I would never take back! I love you Joshua. Happy Anniversary. And to My family who sat around the table laughing at me when I got a ring for dating a boy for 6 months. IN YOUR FACE!
Love ya!

–I am called to an enormous dark room.
Shadowed and reflected. Glittering colors of sunset dancing through stain glass windows. The feel of wood floor. My feet atoned. A beat is played similar to my heart, but the harmony is not recognized by ear. I am here alone.
But not really.
I can rock back and forth. Suspend and release. Listen and mimic through the curve of my line. And the movement of me.
I can embrace the talent. And dance for the angels.
Here
I can feel them watch.–KKDW
