With the selling of our home in Fort Dodge, we’re now on the hunt for a home in Ankeny, Iowa.  We selected Ankeny for a couple of reasons, mainly being the school system is much better than others in the greater Des Moines area.  Link  As far as the actual home goes, we want to find a house that allows us to stay in it for awhile.  The initial investment might be a stretch for us, but we don’t want to have to move in a few years when the kids get to be teenagers and want their own space.

We carved pumpkins at Christina and Michael’s it is funny that the Fitch’s are in charge of a party where we use sharp objects!

I have been running a lot. It is my new addiction. I was never a runner so this is something new. I am starting to run about 3 miles a night when I do not teach dance.

Dance is going great. I wonder where some of my dance ideas come from. We have a lot of fun in class. Plus, I get to whip them into shape! This week we have a Candy Quiz of Ballet Terms for treats!

I get a vacation to Chicago with Josh November 10th. So excited! We are going on a dinner cruise. To a comedy club….2nd City. We are both excited. Although it is not a beach…..it is a week off of work and with my hubs.

Other than that, a typically day is Drake……I am the communication person! lol ;-P Announcements, Web Site updates, etc…….Then straight up to dance tell 10 PM. Then home to start again!
Mom and I work out Monday and Friday after work and Wednesday at lunch! One day on the weekend mama Take your pick.

So, a vacation is going to be nice! Loves and Misses to all!

Yesterday was Aaron’s 5th birthday.  Aaron celebrated by having cake and ice cream for dinner and by doing anything he wanted.  Which consisted of playing video games until his heart was content and staying up late.  We had a fun time hanging out and playing.  Aaron is really looking forward to his birthday party on Saturday.

Josh is back in England now. He is working hard to finish up! I miss him! I am working days at Drake and nights at the Dance Studio! I am a freaking busy bee. I enjoy teaching dance so much. I love it. I have taught there for so long. My little 6th graders are graduating this year! Josh and I are doing great. I will get to see him in Chicago in November. Vacation together. Lancaster University is flying him back for Psychonomics a conference. So, I took a week off to relax with him there. I cannot wait. We are also trying to plan a trip this summer to Hawaii with our best buds Noah and Denise who live in KC at the moment. I hope that all works out! I miss all my family that are away a bunch. I am so sad I have not gotten to meet Mr. Max yet. He needs his Auntie! Plus, I want to see Joe and Anna become parents! I love you all. Peace out.

I work at Drake….. I deal with Academic and student affairs in CPHS! I love meeting my sister and her children and my mom for lunch! We have a good time.

Our couple friends are finally back! We have enjoyed hanging out with Jeff and Melissa and are very happy they are in Des Moines again! We like to sit around our firepit, play Wii, etc!

We went tailgating with the old gang for the ISU vs Kent game! Lets just say we were tired the next day!

Josh and I moved to Des Moines. We have been fixing up Morton. A lot of painting and cleaning! But it is getting better. We had a house warming party. Also, a grill out for Josh and my birthdays.
